⚠️ As per server rules, all clips used in Player to Player reports must include at least 5 minutes of unedited footage.
Reports submitted without this minimum requirement will be deemed invalid.
To ensure you're always covered, it is highly recommended you configure your recording or clipping software to save at least the last 5 minutes of gameplay.
🛠️ What You'll Need
To effectively capture footage, you’ll want:
- A Windows PC
- One of the following:
- NVIDIA GeForce Experience (ShadowPlay)
- AMD Radeon Software (ReLive)
- OBS Studio (for advanced users)
- Medal (for lightweight, quick sharing clips)
- Adequate storage space for video files
📹 Option 1: NVIDIA Users (ShadowPlay)
If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, use GeForce Experience for efficient recording.
✅ Setup Steps:
- Download & install GeForce Experience
- Launch the app and sign in
- Press
Alt + Z
to open the overlay - Go to Settings → HUD Layout → Status Indicator
- Enable Instant Replay, and set it to record at least 5 minutes under Settings → Video Capture
- Optional: Set a hotkey for quick manual saves
ShadowPlay is ideal for saving the past few minutes after an incident—perfect for sudden or unexpected moments.
🔴 Option 2: AMD Users (ReLive)
For those with an AMD graphics card, Radeon Software includes built-in capture tools.
✅ Setup Steps:
- Install AMD Adrenalin Software
- Open the software → Head to Record & Stream
- Enable Instant Replay and set it to record at least 5 minutes
- Customize hotkeys, resolution, and file location in Settings
🎞️ Option 3: Medal (Easy & Lightweight)
Medal is a free, user-friendly app for clipping gameplay with social sharing features.
✅ Setup Steps:
- Download and install Medal
- Open the app and sign in
- Set your clip length to a minimum of 5 minutes under Settings → Clips
- Choose a hotkey for quick capture (e.g., F8)
- Clips auto-save locally and can also be uploaded to your Medal account
Medal is a great lightweight option for players who want quick clipping without the complexity of full recording suites.
📺 Option 4: OBS Studio (Advanced Users)
If you want full control over your recordings, OBS Studio is your go-to.
✅ Setup Steps:
- Download OBS Studio
- Create a new Scene and add Display/Game Capture sources
- Set resolution, framerate, and file output under Settings → Output
- Use hotkeys or the Start Recording button to manage captures
