🚗 How do I get started in BritishRP?
To get started, you’ll need to install FiveM and connect to the BritishRP server. Once connected, you’ll be able to create a character and start your roleplay journey. Make sure to read through our Character Creation Guide before jumping in.
💼 What jobs can I do in BritishRP?
There are numerous whitelisted and non-whitelisted jobs available in the city. Whitelisted jobs such as Police, EMS, and Mechanics offer stable pay and structured roleplay, while non-whitelisted jobs such as delivery driver, fishing, and metal detection give you more freedom. 🔒 What are Whitelisted Jobs?
Whitelisted jobs are jobs that are only available to those who have been approved for them. These jobs require a commitment and often restrict your character from participating in illegal activities. Examples include Police, EMS, and Recovery Operator. You can apply for whitelisted jobs through the in-game menu or by applying on our Discord.
⚖️ Can I participate in illegal activities?
Yes, illegal activities such as drug trafficking, heists, robberies, and gun crafting are available. However, if you commit to a whitelisted job such as Police or EMS, you cannot participate in these activities. You can use up to 4 characters, so you may wish to use a second character for these illegal activities. Remember, the more risk, the higher the pay!
🏠 How do I buy a house or vehicle?
You can purchase properties and vehicles in the game, but financial stability is important. Some vehicles and houses are more affordable early on to help you get started. For vehicles, check out PDM (Premium Deluxe Motorsports), and for houses, head to the Property Broker in the city. For more details on vehicle and house purchases, check our Economy Overview.
🎮 How do I change my character's appearance?
You can change your character's appearance at any time by visiting a Barber Shop for hairstyle changes, or a Clothing Store for wardrobe updates. However, be mindful of character backstory and consistency.
❗ What should I do if I encounter a rulebreaker?
If you encounter someone breaking the rules, do not engage in OOC (Out of Character) arguments. Instead, report the player using the /report command or submit a report via the BritishRP Discord. We take rulebreaking seriously, and any evidence (including video or screenshots) is appreciated.
🚔 How do I report a player or a rule violation?
To report a player, use the /report command in-game or submit a detailed report with evidence to our Discord's Support Channel. Please ensure your report is clear and concise, and include any video clips or screenshots of the violation.
🎥 How do I capture evidence of rule violations?
For capturing footage of rule violations, it is recommended to use software like Medal or Shadowplay to record gameplay. OOC and LOOC should not be used to call out cheaters. If you need to report something, make sure to follow the Evidence Guide and capture a minimum of 5 minutes of unedited footage.
🎤 How do I change my voice settings?
To adjust your voice settings in BritishRP, open the Settings menu in-game, then go to Voice Settings. Here, you can modify your push-to-talk settings, microphone volume, and more. Ensure you're using the correct microphone input, and test your settings before roleplay interactions.
📝 What is the roleplay behavior expected of me?
At BritishRP, immersion is key. We expect players to stay in-character (IC) and avoid out-of-character (OOC) communication unless absolutely necessary. Roleplay should be realistic, meaning your actions and reactions should reflect how a real person might behave. For more info on roleplay behavior, check out our Roleplay Rules.

🛠️ How do I report a bug or technical issue?
If you encounter any bugs or technical issues, please report them on the BritishRP Discord in the #bug-reports channel. Be sure to include a detailed description of the issue, steps to reproduce it, and any relevant screenshots or videos.
🕹️ How do I join an event or RP scenario?
BritishRP regularly hosts community events and roleplay scenarios. Keep an eye on our Discord for announcements regarding scheduled events. If you want to participate, make sure you’re available during the event times, and check any specific requirements listed in the event details.
📜 What happens if I break the rules?
If you break the rules, staff will review the situation, and warnings or bans may be issued depending on the severity of the violation. Repeated rule violations could result in a permanent ban from the server. To ensure a fair experience for all, we enforce the rules strictly. Always review our Rules before you start playing.
🔑 Can I use cheats, mods, or hacks?
No, cheating, using mods, or hacks is strictly prohibited on BritishRP. Anyone caught using cheats will be permanently banned. Always make sure you’re playing fair and staying within the rules.
🎮 Can I play BritishRP on consoles?
Currently, BritishRP is only available on PC via FiveM. You must have a copy of Grand Theft Auto V installed on your PC to play.
