Welcome to BritishRP! Whether you're fresh off the plane or just settling into the city, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know to hit the ground running. From installing the game to earning your first paycheck, we’ve got you covered.
🎮 How to Join the Server
To play on BritishRP, you'll need FiveM, luckily we have a detailed guide on setting up FiveM!

🗺️ Creating Your Character
On your first login, you’ll be brought to our character creator.
Here you can:
- Customize your appearance
- Choose your name and background
- Select your gender and clothes
Make sure to create a realistic and immersive character—this is a roleplay server after all.
Once you confirm your character, you’ll spawn into the world and begin your BritishRP journey.
🧭 First Steps in the City
After arriving, you’ll want to get the essentials:
📱 Get a Phone
Phones can be purchased at any Phone Shop. They’re vital for communication, jobs, banking, and more.
🪪 Get an ID
Your Drivers License will be sufficient as an ID card, this can be purchased from City Hall.
💳 Open a Bank Account
Bank accounts are automatically set up, but you can visit any bank or ATM to manage funds. Cash and card both serve different purposes—manage them wisely.
💼 Finding a Job
Start earning money by picking up a starter job.
Popular beginner-friendly jobs:
- 📦 Delivery Driver
- 🚛 Trucking
- 🎣 Fishing
- 🧹 Metal Detecting
- 🧍 Plumping
Use your map (M key) to locate Job Blips and interact with NPCs to start working. Each job varies in pay and risk—try a few out to see what suits you.
As you gain experience and cash, you’ll unlock higher-paying roles, licenses, and even the opportunity start your own business!
🚗 Getting a Vehicle
While walking is free, you’ll want a vehicle to move around efficiently.
- 🚲 Bicycles can be found around the city.
- 🚗 Cars can be purchased at PDM or other dealerships.
- 💳 The locals have cars... you could try a car-jacking I guess...?
Pro tip: Always keep your car fueled and insured—you never know when you’ll need to make a quick getaway (or a food delivery)!
